Sermorelin vs HGH
Sermorelin asks your pituitary to do the work. HGH does the work for it. The safety profiles diverge.

Sermorelin is a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog that stimulates the pituitary gland to produce its own growth hormone. Recombinant human growth hormone (HGH) is the hormone itself, injected directly. The pituitary's natural feedback loop is preserved with sermorelin but bypassed with HGH — which is why most longevity clinicians prefer sermorelin for non-pediatric use.
Side by side.
Who picks which.
- Longevity, recovery, or sleep goals at adult doses
- Want a more physiologic profile preserving the pituitary feedback loop
- Cost-sensitive
- Diagnosed adult or pediatric GH deficiency
- Need precise pharmacokinetic control
For non-deficient adult use (longevity, recovery, sleep), sermorelin is the better choice — preserved feedback, lower cost, lower risk of supraphysiologic exposure. HGH is appropriate when a documented GH deficiency is being treated under endocrinology supervision.
